COST: $70 for workshop and compost bin; $20 for workshop only
This workshop thoroughly covers the importance and benefits of composting, the process, setting up a compost pile, proper maintenance, and ways of using finished compost.
Registrants may choose to register for the Backyard Composting Workshop only for $20 or for $50 additional they can purchase the Backyard Composting Workshop and Compost Bin for $70.
This bin has an 82-gallon capacity and is ideal for urban and suburban areas. You can pick-up the bin, if you purchase one, in Rose Tree Park, 1671 N. Providence Rd., Media or at PRC, 828 W. North Ave., Pittsbugh. You will be provided a contact person for convenient dates and times.
