Location

Construction Junction
114 N. Lexington St
Pittsburgh, PA 15208

Description

DATE: Sat, March 28, 2026
TIME: 11:00 AM - Noon

COST: $80 for workshop and rain barrel; $20 for workshop only

Workshop participants will learn how to harvest rainwater from their roofs, store it, and use it in the landscape. You will also learn how to reduce your contribution to combined sewer overflow (CSO), flooding, and polluted urban runoff by learning how to practice watershed protection and conservation in their own backyards. It’s easier than you think!  Registrants may also choose to purchase a FreeGarden RAIN barrel (click for spec. sheet) with their workshop ticket. This barrel has a 55-gallon capacity and is ideal for urban and suburban areas. Pittsburgh Water offers a one-time credit on your stormwater fee for installing a rain barrel thats at least 50-gal.

Thank you for supporting a waste-free Pennsylvania!
