PRC Backyard Composting Webinar

COST: $20 for virtual workshop only. Optional $50 compost bin

This workshop thoroughly covers the importance and benefits of composting, the process, setting up a compost pile, proper maintenance, and ways of using finished compost.   

Registration closes the day before the event at Noon. After registering, an email with the zoom meeting information will be sent to the email you used to register. You will also receive a reminder email 1 week before the event.

The EarthGarden 82-gallon compost bin is made out of recycled plastic and is ideal for urban and suburban areas. You can pick-up the bin, if you purchase one at PRC-West located at 828 W. North Ave., Pittsburgh. PA 15233 and PRC-East at Rose Tree Park, 1521 N. Providence Rd., Media, PA 19063 . Pick up times for the composting bins can be coordinated with PRC-West, Laura Blood at laurab@prc.org and with PRC-East, Leslie Dawson at leslie@prc.org.  Please direct any questions you may have to Carol Butler at butler@prc.org
